Laboratory for Immunoengineering and Regenerative Medicine

The Laboratory for Immunoengineering and Regenerative Medicine - which has previously shared lab and office space with the Laboratory for Orthopaedic Technology - has moved, but continues to collaborate with Prof. Ferguson.

The laboratory is now located at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Upstate New York under the new name “Tissue Regeneration and Mechanobiology Laboratory”, where Prof. Karin Wuertz-Kozak was appointed as Kate Gleason Endowed Full Professor in October 2019.

The doctoral students Aleksandra Sadowska and Elena Cambria are currently hosted by Prof. Ferguson to finish their theses on the TRIPDISC project, which investigates the role of Transient Receptor Potential Channels in disc osmosensing and mechanosensing (SNF PP00P2_163678/1, Eurospine 2016_4).
